I have always been interested in, and worked for, technology businesses that provide disruptive technology to aid customers in their drive for improvement. When I joined Yotta, in 2010, I saw a great deal of potential in the company, its staff and the future challenges that lay ahead in the market.
That potential is being realised and I remain extremely excited about the influential role Yotta can play in the global market. Much of that potential will be realised by our ability to be positively differentiated and ambitious; these factors are a clear focus in my role within the business.
I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1996 and subsequently spent 9 years working for AIM listed Computer Software Group plc, before joining Yotta in 2008. My focus, and that of my team, is on the financial control and growth of this unique business as we enter into an exciting new chapter of expansion.
I enjoy playing as well as watching football and cricket, although the sporting and dancing activities of my two young children take up most of my time.
I started my working life at Yotta’s sister company, Vicon, just after finishing my PhD at MIT. I’ve now spent over 10 years at Yotta working on the building of survey vehicles, data processing and most recently developing new software applications such as Horizons.
In addition to my interests in design and technology, I relish the outdoors, and have particularly enjoyed a momentous trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
With a career spanning over 20 years, I have witnessed a huge shift in customer and buyer behaviour and this is one of the reasons why Marketing is such an exciting place to be right now, especially in an organisation like Yotta.
I have worked in various senior roles across a number of technology markets including telecoms, consultancy, big data and SaaS and it is this experience which has had a big impact on my passion for all things Marketing.
My role at Yotta is to illustrate the true value our solutions can bring to our Customers and deliver relevant, yet creative marketing to a global market. Outside of work my focus is my family – going for dog walks, refining my Italian culinary skills and running the odd 5k now and then.
After an early career within utility engineering and IT management, I have spent the last 15 years in technology and SaaS businesses serving Retail, SME and Corporate customers. During this time I have had a variety of senior operational and business improvement roles which have all had a strong focus on the customer experience.
My role at Yotta is to deliver absolute focus to all aspects of our post-sales consultancy, delivery and support activity, ensuring outstanding customer journeys and unrivalled value for money for our customers.
Outside of work, my time is spent with my family and our much loved dog, with any spare moments devoted to my love of music and in particular, playing guitar with a local blues band.
