The 2015 Conference – Delivering Real Change in the Places We Live – will be held at the Manchester Airport Radisson Blu Hotel on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th November.

Every hour of every day, every week of every year, ADEPT members look after the local economy, the environment, planning, regeneration and transport in their role as local authority Directors of Place. We are working with associate members, LEP Chief Executives, who are delivering on growth deals across the country, for the benefit of local people and businesses.

ADEPT members are focussed on achieving the best for their communities and understand what those communities need to prosper; key place based services including well managed highways, affordable housing, safe and healthy environments, access to services, good quality employment opportunities and thriving local economies.

This conference will give ADEPT members, LEP Chief Executives, politicians, partners and stakeholders the opportunity to learn from real examples of our members and partners delivering successful projects to transform the places people live and work. Also to hear more about the opportunities that exist and how challenges might be overcome, particularly in the context of devolution proposals spanning the entire country.

At the start of a new Parliament, the conference is well timed to generate debate on ADEPT’s refreshed policy agenda and opportunities to support the Government in creating a prosperous nation.
